NEW Hours:
From 8:00 AM to
8:00 PM or SUNSET
7 Days
a Week
1.
Adhere to the range rules. Do not shoot unauthorized targets and
CLEAN UP when you are finished shooting. Remember ~ Target
stands ARE NOT TARGETS! They are meant to hold targets for you to shoot
at. When people get careless – or worse, intentionally shoot the
stands – they are destroying club property, costing YOU money, and
making it difficult for other members to enjoy the use of our
facilities.
2.
DO
NOT shoot targets such as glass bottles, propane tanks, TV sets, or
other junk on the range. These leave debris on the range which makes
maintenance – such as grass cutting – difficult and potentially
dangerous. Members caught shooting such items are subject to
disciplinary measures such as suspension or revocation of their
membership. It is also possible that, under egregious conditions,
criminal charges could be pursued.
3.
Get the name and/or identification
(license plate # can help) of those
doing damage to the range and report them to the Board. They WILL
take action!
4.
SHOTGUNS are NOT ALLOWED on any range except
the new pistol pit on the upper section. (The one that is only
partially completed, at this time.) If you are caught using shotguns on
any other range you risk losing your membership privileges. (An
exception is allowed only during sanctioned competitive events.)
5.
Do
not loan your membership card to ANYONE! Do not bring guests to the
range unless they have purchased a proper guest pass and you are
physically with them at the range. Anyone caught on the range without
proper authorization is subject to possible arrest and prosecution for
criminal trespass. Any member enabling such actions is potentially
subject to loss of membership privileges.
Once
again ~ This is YOUR range. Please help us keep it clean and usable for
the benefit of ALL members.

As a reminder to members:
1) Treat every gun as if it was loaded;
2) Be sure of your target and what is behind it;
3) Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.

The
Minot Rifle and Pistol Club's indoor range facilities are
located west of Minot on US 2/52.
From Minot, proceed west on US
2/52. Go 1.3 miles west of Behm's Truck Stop/Country Kitchen
Restaurant and turn left (CR-17). Follow the road (CR-17) under the trestle
bridge and bear left at the intersection (62nd St. SW). The indoor range is
on the right hand side at the top of the hill (about 1/2 mile).
It is a grey steel building with green trim.
If you're approaching from the
west, the turn off is about 9 miles east of the junction of US
2 and 52. Turn right towards the trestle bridge and follow the
instructions above. |
